On 27th April 2023, in the Bohemian National Hall, 321 E. 73rd St, New York, Ruth will give the first New York performance of haunting poems from her T. S. Eliot Prize-shortlisted collection Learning to Make an Oud in Nazareth, between performances of Haydn’s music by world-renowned Brentano String Quartet.

‘A uniquely tangible and contemporary vision of a historic scene: an emotional journey which begins by attending to the needs of others, Forgiveness, Comfort and Relationship, progressing through Abandonment and Distress, to culminate in Fulfilment and Reunion.’
